Barbara Palvin was born on October 8, 1993, in Budapest, Hungary. Raised alongside her older sister, Anita Palvin, in the suburbs of Budapest, she grew up with a love for sports and the arts. Barbara's parents, Tamás Palvin and Katalin Szabó, encouraged her to explore her passions and interests, including ballet, football, and drawing.

Barbara's life took an unexpected turn at the age of 13 when she was discovered by a modeling scout while walking the streets of Budapest with her mother. Recognizing her potential, the scout offered her an opportunity to enter the world of modeling.

Modeling Career

In 2006, Barbara signed with IMG Models and soon after began working with a variety of brands, quickly establishing herself as an up-and-coming talent. At the age of 16, she made her runway debut, walking for Prada during Milan Fashion Week in February 2010. This was a significant moment in her career, as Prada rarely features new faces in their shows.

Barbara's striking features and unique look quickly caught the attention of the fashion industry. Over the years, she has graced the covers of major fashion magazines, such as Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, and Glamour. She has also worked with prestigious fashion houses and brands, including Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Armani, Miu Miu, and Calvin Klein.
